It’s been a great test where visitors are defeated by 6 wickets, having won the toss decided to bat first. SA leads the series 1-0 by beating PAK in 3rd day of this 1st Test. PAK in the 1st innings managed to get only 181 runs on the board with the help of Babar Azam’s 71 knock. Other batsmen were unable to stand in front of SA bowling. Duanne Olivier was the mastermind behind the PAK destruction. He took 6 wickets from 37 runs only. Kagiso Rabada also made an impact with 3 wickets to his name. In the 1st innings batting of SA they made 223 with 10 wickets. Temba Bavuma made half century 53 runs. De Bruyn was playing well on 29 but unfortunately went by Amir. With a lead SA came to bowl in second innings and again made a super impact on PAK batting line up. Again, Pakistan were unable to score a big total and finished off with 190 on board. Half centuries from Imam-Ul-Haq and Shan Masood can’t help PAK to get a big lead. The last innings target for SA was set to 149 just. In SA’s bowling again Duanne Olivier delivered a great spell and took 5 wickets in this innings. SA approached to their total with the help of Amla’s 63 and Elgar’s 50. None of the PAK bowlers were effective in last innings. SA won by 6 wickets and took a lead in the series.
