South Africa vs Pakistan 3rd Test Highlights: SA won by 107 runs
South Africa beat Pakistan in the 3rd test also and won the series 3-0 quite comfortably. SA played dominatingly through the series to make a white wash to PAKs. South Africa choose batting after winning the toss and made 262 in their first innings.
Aiden Markram made 90 in the opening, missed a century, de Bruyn made 49, missed his half century. Amla and Hamza made 41 each, but these knocks helped to put a healthy total in the board. Pakistan batting were again full of disappointment, none of them stand for long, Sarfraz Ahmed’s only 50 and some short innings put 185 in their first innings score.
Duanne Olivier again delivered a nice bowling attack and picked 5 wickets. Philander got 3 wickets. In the second innings for SA, the start was not so good, but Hasim Amla stood their and contributed 71 runs to the total. But, down in the order wicket keeper Quinton De Kock made a century, he scored 129 runs in just 138 balls and put a healthy second innings total in the board. They put 303 runs with added lead from first innings, the target was 381. Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf bowled well, picked 3 wickets each, Mohammad Amir bowl nicely in the beginning and picked up 2 wickets.
Pakistan got a nice start but lack of long partnerships proved the target as not gettable for them. Asad Shafiq made 65, Shadab khan was not out on 47 till the end. PAK were 107 runs short to target. Olivier and Rabada took 3 wickets, Steyn got 2 under his name. De Kock was declared the Man of the match for his brilliant century.
