SA vs PAK 3rd ODI Highlights: South Africa won by 13 runs (DLS Method)
Back to back wins for Proteas. They showed great exposure in batting. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan put a healthy total in first innings.
They scored 317 runs with 6 wickets. A century (101 from 116 balls) from Imam-Ul-Haq, a half century (69 from 72 balls) from Babar Azam and a quick knock (51 from 45 balls) from Mohammad Hafeez put a fighting total on the board. Imad Wasim too played a little cameo in the end, scored 43 with just 23 runs and helped the score to reach beyond 300.
South African bowlers were not effective much, Steyn and Rabada picked 2 wickets. Others went for too many runs. In the second innings, the rain affected the match badly and reduced the total to 175 runs in 33 overs in DLS method. It became tougher to score 5.3 runs per over for proteas. But, they started positively. Openers scored with a good strike rate, but the total was achieved by the superb knock from Reeza Hendricks.
He scored 83 from 90 balls and Faf Du Plesis helped him with 40 runs knock from 42 balls. They remain unbeaten and chased down the total quite comfortably. Reeza Hendrick was declared Man of the Match for his match winning performance. So, this win gave South Africa the lead of 2-1 in the 5-match series.
